Sweat 2023 line-up announced in new partnership with PerformX Live

UKACTIVE has announced the line-up for its thought leadership event for the boutique and independent fitness sector, Sweat, which this year joins forces with PerformX Live for the first time.

Sweat 2023 will take place as part of PerformX Live on March 17 in London’s Tobacco Dock.

Inspirational personal trainer, author and presenter Laura Hoggins will kick-off the day with a keynote speech reflecting on the trends, themes and lessons from the past year, before exploring the ways businesses can manage the ongoing economic challenges and the cost-of-living crisis.

Laura has grown the brand at personal training small-group studios Foundry, and is the author of best-selling book ‘Lift Yourself’.

The line-up also includes founder and CEO of Heartcore Pilates, Jessie Blum, and CEO of Gladstone Software, Claire Rollins, who will be hosting a ‘Fireside Chat’ to share how they used customer service and developed their brand voice to create brand loyalty.

This will be followed by a panel of CEOs including David Stalker from Myzone, Andy Hall from Brand Xchange and David Birch from Endurance Zone, who will discuss the emerging role of technology and gamification in the sector, and how to utilise it to improve customer retention.

Sweat will also tackle the latest issues in sustainability, with a panel featuring senior propositions manager at Nuffield Health, Joanna Seldon, and head of strategic account management at Xplor Technologies, Dave Alstead, who will discuss how to integrate sustainability, business development and innovation into a successful business plan.

A one-day ticket to ukactive’s Sweat 2023 provides access to all Sweat sessions and also to the PerformX Live event.
