Former Mr Olympia visits Panatta headquarters

PHIL Heath, one of the most impressive and influential bodybuilders in the world (Mr. Olympia 2011 through 2017) recently visited Panatta’s headquarters in Italy.

Visiting the many square hectares of the factory located in Apiro allowed Phil to discuss with the owner Rudy Panatta the prototypes he is working on now.

Phil’s ideas and suggestions are really interesting because he switched to bodybuilding after another successful career as a captain on the varsity basketball team – he understands training under different lenses.

Nowadays he suggests learning the basics of functional training and he means proper form and technique. Those are the major assets of Panatta equipment. Indeed, being considered one of the best-and well-balanced bodybuilding physique of all time, his approval of bodybuilding machines speaks a lot about the long time discussions if athletes should prefer machines or free weights.

He said: “Athletes should prioritse the best equipment as for biomechanics and safety – exactly as the Panatta equipment. Period.”

During his stay, Phil planned a series of videos where he explains the Panatta equipment and the amazing feelings you get. As a bodybuilder, he uses the language of pumping, squeezing, tensing and all the emotions and feelings.

As a knowledgeable champion discussing this equipment with Rudy Panatta he learns how to explain in words and in scientific concepts what he feels. Although the equipment is biomechanically perfect, safe, and user-friendly, some tips from such a champion can help any fitness enthusiast – at any level – to get the most out of the best “tools in the trade”.

Phil will be back at the Panatta headquarters in October for the shooting of his video lessons about Panatta equipment. Shortly after that, you will find them online and, in case you would like a hands-on experience, he is attending the Dubai Muscle Show on the Panatta booth.
