ESCAPE Fitness has launched a dedicated Glute equipment range in a partnership with Glutebuilder.
The first introduction to Escape’s new Glute range is the GLUTE BOX which offers an affordable, portable Glute training option that is at home in a functional training space as it is in a hotel guestroom or free weight area.
The hybrid box, with its patented angled design, creates the perfect surface for the performance of up to 30 Glute exercises.
Manufactured from a tough, durable synthetic material, tightly stretched over a dense foam interior then overlaid with a vinyl anti-slip top and bottom, this box, with its large training surface, is perfect as a standalone training aid or as a partner to a barbell or training bag.
“As consumer interest in strength training continues to grow and more women enjoy the benefits, we are seeing a global increase in the demand for dedicated glute training equipment” said Matthew Januszek, CEO of Escape Fitness.
“The Glutes are a major muscle group with the Gluteus Maximus being the largest muscle in the human body yet these muscles are often neglected in training regimes.
“Well-trained, well-functioning glutes protect knees, hips and the lower back from injury and provide the stabilisation and power needed in many sports and everyday movements.
“In addition to the performance reasons for training the glutes, there is also a growing aesthetic focus on training the butt. Women in particular tend to place aesthetic value on a well sculptured derriere. Our feedback from gym operators is that as more women enter the free weight areas there is a growing demand for dedicated glute equipment.
“Combining the biomechanical design genius of Arturo Garcia López, founder and CEO, Glutebuilder with Escape’s extensive expertise and experience designing training equipment and environments focused on functional and strength training plugs a huge gap in the market.”
