Construction work well underway at new health and wellness club 

CONSTRUCTION is underway at the highly anticipated David Lloyd Bury St Edmunds at Marham Park, with the new facilities opening in late 2024.

Located on the new Marham Park development, on the north edge of Bury St Edmunds, the new Club will offer a wide range of state-of-the-art health, fitness, racquets,and spa facilities for families and adults of all ages. The centrepiece of the Club will be the 100+ station gym.

Stuart Caswell, new club acquisitions director at David Lloyd Clubs said: “We’re excited to see the development at David Lloyd Bury St Edmunds progress at such a great rate. 

“While the opening of the new Club isn’t due until this winter, we’ve already seen a lot of enquiries from those interested in joining which is fantastic news.

“Offering a wide variety of premium health and wellness facilities, our new Club has something for people of all ages, and we look forward to welcoming the local community in 2024.”

Bespoke group exercise studios will host more than 100 classes each week including the David Lloyd Clubs’ exclusive Signature Classes Collection.  Members can take part in high-energy workouts such as IGN1TE, find balance in Mind and Body classes including SPIRIT, Pilates and yoga, pedal through RHYTHM and CYCLONE group cycling classes, and experience the adrenaline rush from the new and exclusive HIIT class BLAZE.

Other facilities include heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor tennis courts and outdoor padel courts.
